The establishment of Yaddah occurred on April 5, 2023. Since then, nearly two years have passed, during which various events unfolded over specific time periods, often disconnected from one another. Below is the full and detailed chronological account of Yaddah's history:
To this day, I am not 100% certain about the exact founding date of Yaddah. The earliest documented evidence of its existence is the upload of the state's flag to the Wikimedia Commons platform on September 6, 2023. Other sources I found indicate a founding date of April 6, 2024. However, the most reliable evidence remains my memory, which suggests that the founding took place on April 5, 2023.
My desire to establish a micronation was sparked by a video I watched on the subject by Nas Daily. I was amazed to discover that people were creating their own entities, and I wanted to establish a micronation that would align with my own identity and values.
After some deliberation, I decided on the character of the state. This decision was influenced by the events surrounding the judicial reform in Israel, which sparked widespread protests against the government led by Benjamin Netanyahu. Personally, I supported these protests and opposed Netanyahu's government, which led me to shape the values of my micronation accordingly. Additionally, as a Zionist and supporter of Israel, I ensured that Zionist values would also be integral to the nation I was about to establish.
As the founding day approached, I began organizing the necessary arrangements. I prepared a ballot box, election slips, purchased small and large Yaddah flags, and wrote the state’s founding declaration speech. I also drafted membership forms for citizens to sign. On April 5, 2023, I, along with a few individuals, held a ceremony to declare the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Yaddah. Immediately afterward, we held secret elections with two candidates: myself and my rival. The initial elections were close, with a tight vote count. In the end, my rival won, leading by about 10%. Shortly thereafter, I discovered that the individual responsible for counting votes and ensuring fairness had rigged the results in favor of my rival. As a result, a re-election was held, in which I won by a margin of approximately 50%.
A few days later, Yaddah acquired a stock of Non-Lethal guns. We interpreted this acquisition as an opportunity to expand our territorial boundaries and began preparing. I convened a meeting to discuss the matter. During the meeting, we agreed on a plan to invade a built-up complex located near Yaddah's western border. Additional decisions were made during the meeting, including the establishment of military roles for members of the micronation.
Towards the end of the first half of April 2024, a Yaddah unit consisting of three soldiers launched an assault from the northeast of the target complex. The unit advanced towards the built-up area. One soldier split off to secure the northern and western areas, ensuring they were cleared of opposition. The rest of the unit stormed a building and issued warning calls toward suspected enemy positions. After securing the entire complex, Yaddah declared its annexation. It was later confirmed that the complex was uninhabited by Israelis, enabling Yaddah’s forces to capture it in less than a minute without resistance. During this period, I also wrote the article about Yaddah on MicroWiki and created social media accounts for the state.
Following this event, a long period of inactivity regarding Yaddah ensued. For an extended time, I rarely engaged with it, except for a few isolated cases. One such instance occurred towards the end of 2024, when I contributed to Yaddah by focusing on its social media presence and digital status.
The second period of significant activity regarding Yaddah began on February 5, 2025. I find it difficult to pinpoint the exact motivation for my renewed obsession with Yaddah, but I believe it stems from a growing passion over the past months. On February 5, 2025, I began posting on subreddit communities dedicated to micronations and started establishing my presence in the micronational community. I developed a website for Yaddah, hosted it on GitHub, and launched additional sub-sites, including a wiki and news platform under its domain.
I also initiated and received proposals for diplomatic relations with other micronations interested in mutual recognition. I wrote articles about Yaddah on various wiki platforms, including Micronations Fandom, EverybodyWiki, and even drafted entries for Wikipedia. I launched this blog, where I share more personal insights about my experiences with Yaddah, and significantly increased its activity on social media to strengthen its standing.
On February 10, 2025, I joined an alliance of micronations called the "Organization for Mutual Defense Between Micronations," as well as several micronational Discord servers.
As of now, I continue to contribute and work for Yaddah, striving to ensure its promising future.
